Everybody wants to know what we are. They see us all around and we are always holding hands, kissing and we’re hugging and we keep saying we’re just friends.
It’s almost five, technically you didn’t spend the night, not that I’d mind, but if you’d stayed, it would be more than just a date. Our thing is hard enough to explain. I know the movie thing has been great. I know you like the dinners at my place. I know I’m not the only one you see, but I’m feeling this chemistry. I really hope it just ain’t me.
Everybody wants to know what we are. They see us all around and we are always holding hands, kissing and we’re hugging and we keep saying we’re just friends.
It’s crazy how it happened friends, what is it when you have a problem you would cal me on the phone. I would always listen to you. Sometimes we’d talk all night long. You think I’m funny, Yeah I say you’re fine. I make you laugh. You send chills up my spine. Now we got all intertwined not like Bonnie and Clyde, because what we’re doing ain’t a crime.

See that couple in the park, that’s us, that’s us. Leaving the movies after dark, that’s us, that’s us. What are they doing in the car, that’s us, that’s us. And, we’re saying we’re just friends.
